JET EXPANDS INTO 300,000 SQ FT AT ST. MODWEN'S LONG MARSTON BUSINESS PARK
The Long Marston Estate
St. Modwen has received planning permission from Stratford-on-Avon District Council for a mixed-use development at its 190 hectare (470 acre) Long Marston Estate site. A programme of site clearing and demolition is underway..
The Long Marston Estate masterplan seeks to create a vibrant new mixed-use village and extend the Greenway from Stratford-upon-Avon through the Estate.
Detailed planning permission is in place for:
- retention of 80,000 sq m of employment space on the site which already provides opportunities for over 500 jobs
- retention of the rail storage and restoration uses, as well as a rail based leisure attraction
- a new roundabout at the Campden Road/Shipston Road junction, as well as at the Clifford Lane / Shipston Road entrance.
Outline planning permission is in place for:
- up to 150 self catering lodges
- up to 150 holiday homes
- a touring caravan park
- community hall and retail convenience store
- sports pitches
- up to 500 homes, including affordable housing to meet local needs
