Long Marston Estate
The first phase of development at Long Marston will be based on the following principles:
- 270 new houses with affordable homes
- Creation of new community space
- 14 acres of new open space
- 10 per cent of houses will be workers dwellings.
Following the Government's decision to withdraw support for the Eco-Town at Long Marston, the site will not be developed for this use.
St. Modwen will now concentrate on developing its masterplan proposals which received planning permission in February 2010.
