The Masterplan Proposals
The proposals for the Long Marston Estate look to create a vibrant new mixed-use development and extend the Greenway from Stratford-upon-Avon through the estate. It is St. Modwen’s ambition to:
- establish a sustainable and viable, commercially-operable mixed-use development.
- retain the current employment offering on site and create new opportunities via the leisure and rail elements of the scheme.
- preserve and enhance the open spaces and woodlands.
- preserve and enhance the established water features, courses and trees.
- explore the opportunity of a suitable rail heritage attraction on site.
- create a residential leisure village, comprised of holiday homes and self catering lodges.
- allow for the rail storage and restoration business operator on site to remain, and grow their business.
- provide up to 500 homes with affordable housing to meet local needs.
